Why this role is important?

The Senior Pricing Analyst supports retail pricing decisions across assigned Front Store categories. This role is responsible for analyzing pricing opportunities, making recommendations, maintaining pricing structures, and monitoring performance to support sales, margin, competitiveness, and customer value perception.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales, margin, competitive pricing, and customer trends to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Develop retail pricing recommendations that align with category strategy and profitability goals.
  • Review and maintain pricing relationships across brands, sizes, formats, and product tiers.
  • Support new item pricing and category reviews.
  • Partner with Category Managers, Merchandising, and Pricing teams to provide pricing insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor pricing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain pricing systems, price families, and item relationships.
  • Prepare and validate pricing changes for execution.
  • Support reporting, analysis, and ad hoc business requests.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Pricing Analytics, Category Analytics, Retail Analytics, Merchandising, Revenue Management, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, data analysis).
  • Experience with SQL and large data sets.
  • Experience with Power BI, BigQuery, Teradata, or similar reporting tools is an asset.
  • VBA, Macros, and automation experience are considered strong assets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
