Shoppers Foundation donates $10M to MMIWG2S+ Healing and Empowerment fund

On February 14, Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health^TM (the “Foundation”) announced a $10M donation agreement with the Government of Manitoba to fund critical programs that will directly benefit children and families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit Peoples (MMIWG2S+). The donation will go to the Government of Manitoba’s MMIWG2S+ Healing and Empowerment Fund, an endowment held by The Winnipeg Foundation, which will provide continual and accessible healing programs and support to affected families.

Last week, Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health^TM (the “Foundation”) released its second annual Impact Report, highlighting the work they are doing to improve access to care, increase awareness of women’s unique health needs and support critical women’s health research and innovation.
