The University of Ottawa campus was buzzing with excitement last week as Shoppers Drug Mart officially opened the doors to its latest Pharmacy Care Clinic. This new clinic – the first on a university campus in Canada – marks a significant step forward in enhancing access to healthcare services for the university's vibrant student community.

Shoppers Foundation donates $10M to MMIWG2S+ Healing and Empowerment fund

On February 14, Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health^TM (the “Foundation”) announced a $10M donation agreement with the Government of Manitoba to fund critical programs that will directly benefit children and families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit Peoples (MMIWG2S+). The donation will go to the Government of Manitoba’s MMIWG2S+ Healing and Empowerment Fund, an endowment held by The Winnipeg Foundation, which will provide continual and accessible healing programs and support to affected families.
