Reporting to the Manager, Pharmacy Pricing, you will analyze and develop prescription pricing strategies across provinces and payors to optimize gross margin while ensuring compliance with the company’s legislative and contractual requirements. You will identify margin opportunities and perform impact analysis to support strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do:
Identify margin opportunities by province and payor; conduct detailed pricing analysis to support initiatives and assess potential regulatory or policy risks
Build reporting dashboards (Power BI, SQL, Excel) to monitor financial impact and communicate insights to Senior Leadership
Collaborate with central support teams and Pharmacy Operations to develop and implement action plans to support new initiatives
Execute and implement pricing strategies including the creation of supporting documentation and processes
Establish pricing for new business acquisitions, and new pharmacy openings
Collaborate with the Professional Affairs team to review and assess government and third-party contracts and reimbursement model; provide recommendations to support negotiations
Work directly with stores to resolve pricing and reimbursement issues
What You'll Need:
Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Advanced data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, Python, or similar tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; comfortable dealing with all levels of management
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong technical aptitude, ability to quickly learn specialized systems and a basic understanding of database structures and enterprise applications
Knowledge of pharmacy industry, pricing or reimbursement is an asset
1-2 years of experience in the healthcare sector or pharmaceutical industry is preferred

Sous la responsabilité du Gérant, Établissement des prix de l’officine, vous serez responsable d’analyser et de développer des stratégies de prix pour les médicaments sur ordonnance par province ou par payeur, afin d’optimiser la marge, tout en respectant les exigences législatives et contractuelles de l’entreprise. Travailler avec l’équipe des affaires professionnelles afin d’évaluer l’impact des nouvelles ententes gouvernementales et privées sur les structures de remboursement; formuler des recommandations pour soutenir les négociations
Travailler directement avec les magasins afin de résoudre les problèmes de prix et de remboursement
Exigences du poste :
Bilinguisme essentiel (français et anglais à l’oral et l’écrit)
Diplôme universitaire en commerce, administration des affaires, finances, mathématiques, statistiques ou dans un domaine similaire
Compétences avancées en analyse de données à l’aide de SQL, Excel, Python ou d’outils similaires
Excellente capacité d'analyse, de synthèse et de résolution de problèmes, avec un grand souci du détail
Solides aptitudes interpersonnelles et esprit de collaboration, à l’aise avec différents niveaux de gestion
Capacité à travailler avec un gros volume de données
Excellentes compétences en communication, orale et écrite.
Maitrise avancée de la Suite MS Office
Expérience souhaitée dans le secteur de la santé ou l’industrie pharmaceutique
Modèle de travail hybride (4 jours au bureau, 1 jour en télétravail)
